DEFINING YOU

What word describes you most befittingly?

A noun or adjective that truly suits,

Encapsulating you discerningly,

Disclosing flaws as well as attributes.

You’re beautiful in body, heart and mind,

The essence of desirability,

Intelligent, articulate, refined,

Imbued with passion and humility.

But qualities alone are meaningless,

Unless their definitions interweave

With foibles, though I shamelessly confess,

No blemish on your being I conceive.

In light of overwhelming evidence,

Perfection is the word that makes most sense.
